My family stayed in Bali in Jan 2009 we had 4 adults, 2 teenages and twins aged 9 years old. Ketut had a 9 seater van to transport us in. His English is excellent. He was always polite and Puntual. He encouraged us to take our time and enjoy our selves. My children saw a school, Rice paddys, temples and volcanos, national parks and Turtle Island. During me and my friends trip to Bali, we had engaged Mr Ketut for 7 days. My friend found him online and made a booking with him about 10 months in advance. Petrol price hike during our visit, however he didn't charge us higher. He drive safely, honest and punctual. I'll not miss out any chance to pass his contact to my friends who like to visit Bali.

Our recent family trip to Bali has been enjoyable and fun. Away from the compact and inflexible itenary of a package tour, we have acquired the service of a local driver cum guide so that we could explore places of our own interest in a relaxing & leisure pace. We don’t have to wake up very early in the morning and be hurried around like herds at places of interest and best of all we do away with ‘shopping’ at souvenir factories. Meeting Mr Ketut on the first day, we discussed and made minor adjustments on the itenary and routes based on his advice and good knowledge of Bali. As he speaks pretty good English, is pleasant and always carries a smile, the kids quickly felt very comfortable with him only after a short period of time. Throughout our 3 days, he has been very puncture, humble, polite and extremely careful on the wheels. He is very patient & never grumbles even though we often extended beyond our normal daily service hours. He took care of the safety of the family especially when we visited Ulu Watu, the temple by the cliff and he personally looked after our little daughter from the very “fierce” monkeys who were all around. Other than just exploring the places of interest, we also managed to sample local favourite dishes such as ‘grilled pork’ & ‘crispy duck’ & dine at several restaurants usually patronised by the locals. It was indeed a pleasure to have him as our guide & I would highly recommend travellers planning their own holidays to Bali to engage his service which was very reasonably priced.
