I found Ngurah Ketut via the web and through email arranged for our party of 4 to be collected on arrival at the airport late in the evening and taken to our hotel....after the following day realaxing on the beach, Ngurah collected us from our hotel at 9am as arranged and after we dissussed what we wanted to see and listened to his suggestions, we left for a really interesting days tour, seeing everything that we wanted. We arrived back at 6pm. His commentary was most interesting and the places he took us to were not just "touristy" but authentic. His charge for the day was amazingly good value. My brother and sister in law were departing for the UK before us so Ngurah collected them on time very early one morning for the trip to the airport and 3 days later repeated this for us to catch our flight for the UK. I have driven in many countries in the world, but am pleased that we used Ngurah in Bali as the scooters/mopeds/motorcycles/other drivers and the road surfaces in Bali are all lethal!!
Thanks very much Ngurah for your services, we would certainly recommend you to anyone wanting a tour or hotel transfer! Jim & Veronica |

My family of 4 (children age 14 and 18) spent our Chinese New Year 2009 in Bali for the first time. Had communicated with Ngurah Ketut through emails and confirmed some itinerary with him two months prior to the trip.
Ketut is already there waiting at our hotel lobby during our first meeting before the agreed time as well as all the other days. He is flexible and accommodative to the changes of the schedule as I decided it is not a good day for rafting due to the previous day activities. He would seek your opinions and preferences first before proceeding to the places of interests.
In the space of 4 days in Bali, we have covered many spots of Bali. We are out of the hotel the latest 9.30am each day and end each day trip with Ketut at around 7.30pm.
Day 1: 12pm onwards, opt for sightseeing after checking into hotel. When to Nusa Dua + lunch, Spa near Jimbaran, dinner at Kedonganan Beach having a wonderful view of the sunset.
Day 2: 9am onwards, Barong and Keris dance, Batik factory and handicraft centre, Padi field terraces, temples, Kintamani Mountain Village + lunch, plantation, Elephant cave, dinner overlooking at padi field. (main dish “Bebek Crispy Duck”).
Day 3: 9.30am onward, Booking is full for morning rafting so had to do it in the afternoon. Proceed for sea sports, diving for the children, flying fish ride. Ketut offered local food for lunch as we are waiting for our turn to dive. Rain pours during journey to the rafting site. But it makes the rafting more challenging as the river waters are higher. Adventure day ends with dinner back in hotel.
Day 4: 9.30am onwards, last day in Bali and heading up north to Bedugul. Stop midway for local lunch (babi buling “suckling pig). Pictures taking with big fruit bat, Iguanas and python, Botanical Garden where Treetop activities located, local market, Strawberry park, floating temple and to Kuta for dinner before flight back.
I had quite a few experiences with guided driver for trip in different part of the world but Ketut stood out based on his sincerity, honesty and willing to make our holiday as enjoyable however short it may be. He is an excellent host in the time that we are in Bali. I would personally recommend travelers planning their own holidays to Bali to engage his service which was very reasonably priced. Thanks Ketut. 23 Jan 2009 - 27 Jan 2009
